Vioxx Victims encourages you to write to your MP to raise the following questions with your representative:
Why has Merck & Co profited from selling drugs in this country but only compensate US victims?
Do you believe that all victims of the drug regardless of their nationality should be compensated by the company that manufactured and distributes it?
Do you believe that to award compensation based on the country in which the victim lives is an ‘injustice’ and is discriminatory?
Do you believe the Government should regulate against companies who make profits in the UK but do not safeguard the consumer?
